Back Office Services Activity. Funds in BOSA are NOT withdrawable unless the member  takes a loan or withdraw from the Sacco to access his/her funds

Yes. A member can have more than one loan, subject to the member’s deposits and net income.

Any active member in good standing is allowed to be a guarantor provided that one has not over guaranteed.A guarantor must be willing and able to repay the loan guaranteed if the loanees fail to pay.

FOSA savings can be withdrawn over the counter (this is a banking facility). BOSA savings are monthly SACCO remittance and can only be withdrawn upon retiring from Sacco membership. FOSA savings can be used to offset BOSA loans or boost BOSA savings. BOSA savings cannot be used to offset loans unless upon default. FOSA is an innovative product to enhance the members’ convenience and boost the SACCO’s income.

A member is only allowed to offset his deposits against his loans if he is ceasing to be a member. He must then pay off the loan balance immediately if any. Offsets are only done when a member has asked those he has guaranteed to seek for guarantor replacements.

Yes, all a member needs to do is to instruct the society by filling in a withdraw form and replace any outstanding guarantees offered to other members loans.
